The intention behind the original Pathways Cairn talisman is to remind us that we all have the internal strength to navigate to our true authentic selves. The word cairn comes from the Scottish Gaelic: càrn. Cairns have been used throughout history as invaluable wayfinding references and landmarks.

The Pathways bronze Cairn talisman with bale can be hung or worn. It is 1" wide by 3" tall and come with a 14" soft black leather cord. The ancient Tibetan slider bead makes it adjustable to any desired length. It comes in a linen drawstring bag and a keepsake kraft box with the matching design. It also includes a card describing what bronze represents for your own reference or letting the gifts recipient understand the meaning of your gift.

Each bronze Cairn is handcrafted by Curtis Rowland, Master Metalsmith at Ildanach Studios, using a blend of traditional and modern metalsmithing with Ancient Bronze, sourced in the USA using a Bronze Age alloy recipe. Each weighty bronze piece has a brushed matte finish and will have natural blemishes in the metal giving it its own unique appearance.

Bronze, as an alloy, becomes a representation of strength through bonding as well as its symbolism for determination, zeal, will power, philosophy, logic, and wisdom.
