Inspiring items

At Pathways to Possibilities, we are extremely intentional about the items we offer.

Each item is created or sourced by hand; not on a manufacturing line by robots, extruded in plastic, or imported from other countries. Rather, they are created by artisans & craftsmen in the US. Every item is unique, imbued with intention, and embodied with the connections we all share. Creating items this way takes time and costs a little bit more, but you will not be disappointed in the quality of these unique items.

Pathways to Possibilities: PATHWAYS TO POSSIBILITIES

The intention behind the original Pathways unalome is to be a visual reminder of the twists and turns in life. The unalome reminds us that while our paths may be different, our journey is the same; that out of the chaotic periods of our lives comes the understanding that we need to continue to make progress towards our authentic selves.

For inspiration the copper unalome can be hung in a window, in your car, on your vision board, you can place it on your meditation alter or somewhere it can cast an iconic shadow. It comes with a 24" length of clear cord, in a linen drawstring bag and a keepsake kraft box with the matching design. The unalome is 4" tall and 1.25" at its widest. It also includes a card describing what copper represents for your own reference or letting the gifts recipient understand the meaning of your gift.

Pathways jewelry uses texture, negative space, and positive relief to provide tactile stimulation. The scientific theory is that handling a piece of jewelry (sometimes called fidgeting) helps you focus by occupying parts of the brain that would otherwise be full of distracting thoughts. Jewelry also provides a discrete way to always have a coping mechanism close at hand.

Each copper unalome is handcrafted by Curtis Rowland, Master Metalsmith at Ildanach Studios, using a blend of traditional and modern metalsmithing with repurposed copper sourced in the USA. Each weighty copper piece has a brushed matte finish and will have natural blemishes in the metal giving it its own unique appearance.

Copper represents an adeptness with energy, nurturing and matters of the body and physical healing while symbolizing such things as creativity, inner beauty, presence, esteem, wisdom, communication, and balance.
